get data from client

Hi dears

I want to program a web site which contain google map and tracking , I use ADF for server side (jdeveloper 11g and oracle database 10g) . in other hand there are android clients which want to send there location to server and every day sync their database with server database.

I want to use json as format of data but I don't know how to get data from network ?! should I use web service or ADF has other features?
