Hi

I am facing an issue with the swap space dropping abruptly while I am running my application. The OS is a customised jumpstart DVD created from Solaris 10, Update 3.

This is the error is see:

My only concern is we are running our application on jumpstart DVD created from Solaris 10, Update 3 did not throw this issue from past 3 years, why all of a sudden we have this problem. The swap space we have allocated in the PROFILE file is 2GB.

# swap -l
{sdc@unknown}[23] swap -l
swapfile dev swaplo blocks free
/dev/dsk/c1d0s2 102,2 8 4096504 3744400
{sdc@unknown}[24]

# swap -s
{sdc@unknown}[24] swap -s
total: 239628k bytes allocated + 84836k reserved = 324464k used, 2418876k available
{sdc@unknown}[25]

Please help

Regards
Indrani
