Generating ASCII file output from Oracle Reports 6.0

Folks,

I have seen a lot of material on this in the discussion forum but haven't had a definitive solution for doing this:

I am doing all of the following while running rwcli60:
1) mode = character
2) desName = full path\filename.txt
3) destype = file

havent set the value of desformat as couldn't find a suitable one from the documentation...

I keep getting REP-3002 error initializing printer etc. errors when I do not want the output to go to print - as set in my destype parameter...

Has anybody done this type of a thing before...
