Gantt Chart with dependencies between Tasks

According to this idea we can't declaratively have dependencies or hierarchical tasks in APEX Gantt Charts:

In Oracle JET it is available:

Can this be achieved with JS Code using the attribute “Initialization JavaScript Function" ?
