Function for expiration date when we already have in data base the date of creation

Hello.

I'm working with a blood donations data base and we'd like to create a function that automatically counts the number of days have passed after the blood donation and if it is valid for use.

We already have the date of the blood donation and we know that it is valid for use till 90 days after donation.
