Full Outer Join Help

546431Aug 2 2007 — edited Nov 16 2010
Could somebody help me please...

I have a full outer join but I keep getting the following error ORA00918 - Column ambiguously defined. I am not sure why this is happening as there is no two columns named the same.

Basically I have one table which I have to use three times. I have created three seperate views of the table and have name every field in each of the views differently.

The resulting SQL looks like the following

SELECT
MSV600_SET.SET_NO,
MSV600_VEHICLE.VEHICLE_NO
FROM
MSV600_SET FULL OUTER JOIN MSV600_VEHICLE ON MSV600_SET.EQUIP_NOS=MSV600_VEHICLE.PARENT_EQUIPV

As shown there is no two columns with the same name. Has anyone any ideas what the issue may be?

Thanks in Advance
Michelle
