fsck.ext3: unable to resolve

Hi,

OEL version 5.8 installed on Oracle Virtual Box.

Unable to reboot OEL server and showing fsck.ext3: unable to resolve and went to "Repair filesystem" mode.

I observed that my disk is not available under /dev path. (/dev/sdb1).

sdb1 disk partition is missing under /dev path.

Please suggest how to resolve this issue.
