FRM-41014 Cannot set attribute of null canvas item .. - Forms 10g

Hi,
Can anyone tell me the reason and fix for this peculiar error message -

Only few clients use to get this error message (FRM-41014 Cannot set attribute of null canvas item ..) when trying to open a form, where as other clients able to open the same form without this error message.

This form is generated using Designer 10g.

Is this related to regional setting of the operating system? (language etc..)
