FRM-30401: Warning: Formula ignored for non-formula item

This error occurs if I do the follolwing: -

  1. Create a new item on a Data Block
  2. Set it as a Formula item
  3. Compile and save
  4. At a later date decide to change it to be a database item and "inherit" the "Calculation Mode" and "Formula" properties.
  5. Compile
  6. Error message: FRM-30401: Warning: Formula ignored for non-formula item

The only resolution I can think of is to create another item, copy the properties from the previous item, then delete the previous item.

This is still a problem in Forms 12.2.1.0.0
