frm-10142 http listener not running

Hi all,

I am unable to run any form from forms builder, I get the frm-10142 error (http listener not running)

tried different ports (8888, 9001, 7001)

when I login the console like this :

http://127.0.0.1:7001/console

and click on Deployments formsapp (11.1.2) is listed with State New

when I click on Environment => Servers the following is listed :

Name State Listen Port

AdminServer(admin) RUNNING 7001

WLS_FORMS SHUTDOWN 9001

WLS_REPORTS SHUTDOWN 9002

when I login to the EM with http://127.0.0.1:7001/em

and under Farm_ClassicDomain I open the Forms node and then click on forms

then under Forms Deployments it is empty

the weblogic server is running

OS : windows 7 64 bits

forms : 11.1.2.2.0 64 bits

WLS 10.3.6

could this be caused by a recent upgrade to java 8 ? (java version = 1.8.0_60)

any ideas ?
