Fresh install on Debian Etch : webserver not running ?

599737Sep 25 2007 — edited Nov 14 2007
Hi,

I just installed Oracle-XE on a fresh Debian Etch. libaio installation and configuration step already done, without any problem. But, when I try to start Oracle, I only get one process : the listener.

db:~# ps aux | grep oracle
oracle 2711 0.0 2.1 21728 5660 ? Ss 09:36 0:00 /usr/lib/oracle/xe/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/server/bin/tnslsnr LISTENER -inherit

netstat confirms that webserver does not start...

db:~# netstat -tupan
Active Internet connections (servers and established)
Proto Recv-Q Send-Q Local Address Foreign Address State PID/Program name
tcp 0 0 0.0.0.0:1521 0.0.0.0:* LISTEN 2711/tnslsnr
tcp6 0 0 :::22 :::* LISTEN 1077/sshd
tcp6 0 288 ::ffff:164.81.55.17:22 ::ffff:164.81.60.:43941 ESTABLISHED2540/sshd: root@tty
tcp6 0 0 ::ffff:164.81.55.17:22 ::ffff:164.81.60.:46527 ESTABLISHED2297/sshd: root@tty

I really don't understanding what I'm missing... Thanks !
