French Character Set

Hi All,

We are on Unix HPUX 11i with Oracle 9i and the oracle character set is US7ASCI.

When we save any record in the DB, containing french characters (Accents) like "c'est le jeu de caractères", the "è" gets converted to "?".

Could anyone please assist on the right direction?
