Foundation is unable to reach Shared Services Registry

Vikram VKMar 16 2016 — edited Mar 17 2016

Hi,

Hyperion Version: 11.1.2.3.503

Database: SQL Server 2008 R2

All sudden today all the users were not able to login to our environment. Then I recycled the Foundation Services after that when I open the workspace page I got 404 Page Not Found.

After doing some investigation I found that Foundation is unable to reach the Shared Services Registry

Caused By: EPMCSS-00001: Failed to initialize EPM Shared Services security instance. Component SYSTEM9/FOUNDATION_SERVICES_PRODUCT/SHARED_SERVICES_PRODUCT is null in EPM System Registry. Verify EPM System Registry configuration.

Then when I am launching the Configuration Utility it is getting the below screen.

EPM_Configuration_Utility.jpg

Upon supplying the SQL Driver, Server, Port, Database, user & password, I am getting below error:

EPM_Configuration_Utility2.jpg

For sure I understand that Foundation is unable to read the information which is shared in Shared Services Registry but not sure where to check all these.

Even I tried to generate the EPM System Registry Report via epmsys_registry.bat from D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\bin path, I get a blank page.

Can someone suggest me for troubleshooting on this issue.

Thanks in advance!
