forward my executable jar to the start menu
843804May 16 2009 — edited May 16 2009Hi. I have developed a stand alone application. Now I have created an executable jar for it. And I have been able to run my application by just clicking the jar file that I created. But I'm trying to give my application a professional touch. Like when I click the executable jar file, it should be installed in my PC and it should be part of the start menu just like the way a newly installed software would be. Does this have anything to do with Java Web Start ? because my application will never be in the web. I'm trying to install it in my mother's PC by shipping it through CD. Any ideas? tnx in advance!
