Forms10g with External Libraries (.pll)

429585Nov 3 2006 — edited Nov 6 2006
I've been trying to migrate a form developed with Forms6i to Forms10g [Version 10.1.2.0.2]. The original form makes use of tree lists implemented with an external library (.pll). This library does all the stuff with tree navigation and it is called navigate.pll. I've been working for this migration for more than 3 months and I still can do anything to get it done. I migrated the form to Forms10g with the pll attached like the old version and It works just fine but as local client/server (my own machine). When it comes to locate the form on the production servers (Oracle Application Server 10g running on Linux) to start using the app (front-end), it just throws the error FRM-40039: Cannot attach library navigate while opening form "Form_Name".

I've done a lot of testing and never get a solution. I've located the pll in the same folder which the fmx is (on the server) and it doesn't work. I've tried to locate the pll into the folder forms90 (on the server) and it doesn't work either.

Please If you have experienced this situation or you might give me some help to get a solution for this, I'd appreciate it so much...

Thanks,
Ale.
