Forms component Unavailable: OEM 10g Application Server Control
kuman2kJun 5 2007 — edited Sep 4 2007i installed the Forms and Reports Services on RHEL4 AS, no infrastructure, no fancy things except i set WebCache HTTP Listen and WebCache HTTP Listen (SSL) to use port 80 and 443 respectively via staticports.ini file. no problem during the installation, test fmx loaded fine but this one matter worries me.
whenever i browse to the OEM Application Server Control [port 1156], i get the trafficlight icon is red whereby the "Forms" component's status is down-pointing-red-arrow. that component could not be selected [its select box is grey-ed] for possibly Start/Stop/Restart/Delete OC4J Instance operation.
i use to do "dcmctl stop (and start) iasconsole" and at 80% of the time these doesnt fix the problem. please help
