forms 6i in character mode

Hi folks,

I have some basic questions concerning character mode in Forms 6i that I haven't found any detailed descriptions about:

- how does character mode in 6i work? Is there some kind of a character mode runtime located on the server that the terminal connects to?

- is it correct that "everything" is running on the server?

- how do you start these forms from a Windows client (open UNIX terminal like exeed -> start command run60 or someting -> form is displayed in terminal?)
