Forms 6i: Full Screen Menu possible?

A client of mine has an Oracle Forms 4.5 character mode application. We would like to move it to a slightly newer platform without redoing the entire application. I have successfully migrated the application to Forms 6i on Linux, and the application runs. The problem is that the menus are setup with a Menu Style of "Full Screen". When run in 6i, the menu's are displayed as a single row across the top of the screen. From the documentation I have been able to find, it does not appear that the "Full Screen" menus were deprecated until Forms 9i, yet I cannot find a way to make full screen menus in 6i. Is it possible? if so, how?
