I'm attempting to navigate to the Oracle Forms Servlet on my server that has my Oracle Forms 12c installation. When using the link http://servername:port/forms/frmservlet, I receive an IE message saying "An add-on for this website failed to run." I'm assuming it's referring to the java add-on but I'm not sure.
So, I tried lowering all of my browsers security settings so that the add-on would run. After changing the settings, I did not receive the "An add-on for this website failed to run" message but instead I received the following security warning:
I clicked Install but then the browser just stayed on a blank white screen and nothing happened.
I know this URL does work because I can access it from my desktop. I just can't access it when I remote into the server so it seems to be a browser issue on the server.
Any ideas?
