Forms 12c (12.2.1.1.0) Client Idle Timeout

I am trying to configure the idleTimeout for our forms application. I setup an event as described in the New Features white paper and it does not seem to be working properly. Instead of giving me the message I have specified in the trigger, I get:

I have tried running the newfeaturescidle form I downloaded from OTN. When I run it after setting the idle time to any value, I do not get the message specified in the When-Event-Raised Trigger.

Have I missed something?
