formatting of numbers

metalrayNov 30 2015 — edited Dec 1 2015

Hi Experts,

I tried it with TO_NUMBER but the format did not make all my numbers look great.

Example data for my column (mynumber):

0.000003

0.000012

293.030000

1610.000000

0.005200

When I apply TO_NUMBERĀ  0.000003 turns to 3E-6 and 0.000008 to 8E-6.

Not great. I need to convert to something to get rid of the trailing zero's.

Any ideas would be very much appreciated!
