Format: CCYY-MM-DD

Could someone please explain what this format means in Oracle...

CCYY-MM-DD

Today is August 1, 2013 and we are in the 21st century.

So using the format "YYYY-MM-DD" you would get "2013-08-01".

Apparently "CC" stands for "century", so I would take that to mean...  "21"

Thus, my suspicion is that CCYY-MM-DD would return 2113-08-01

Sincerely,

Debbie

P.S.  How do I mark something up as "code"??  (It would be nice if the Forums here would post what markup codes are permissible!!  (I'm just used to using bbcodes nearly everywhere these days...)
