form's executable file (.fmx) format...?

360792Jul 5 2004 — edited Jul 7 2004

Dear All,
I really worried for the format of .fmx file i thought that its a binary coded file and no one can see its contents. one time i have opened .fmx file into 'NotePad' or any windows editor, inside coding was in quite visible and readable stat.

Actually i have set the 'logon' trigger in 'login screen' form and off-course have hardcoded the password of the database-user in that trigger. But now the situation is really worse because the database password is not secured any more.

Here I am writing the sample portion of my ‘login screen’ form in which the username, password and connect string is quite visible.

"PKG INIT"<anonymous>"" T $ ÿÿ «Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í 0 D
% % * 8 £ & ' „ „ „0 $ m !P ’ P @ mnbsys invent@mnb € $ € 0 , 0 0 < 1 € $ Þ 0 PASSWORD_VALIDATION ¡ Z «Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í«Í wÄ SYS STANDARD xh BKMNBSYS SEC_USERS DECODE_PW xf 5 BKMNBSYS DECODE_PW “

you can easily see the ‘mnbsys invent@mnb’ in this portion. So, please advise me what to do… If I want to hide form’s inside coding from other than developer guys.

Looking for your kind and rapid response pls…

Thanks a lot.
