Hi,

We have to upgrade a rac database on linux from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4. we have upgraded grid to 12.1.0.2 and upgraded rac database from 11.2.0.3 to 11.2.0.4 but forget to run root.sh after manually installing the oracle binaries. Can we run root.sh now(with running database)?

database is currently running normal on new version but some file permissions are not correct.

Do we need to shutdown upgraded database for it then need to run root.sh.

Thanks for help.
