FORCE LOGGING in Dataguard

3982495Jul 15 2019 — edited Jul 18 2019

Hello,

I have configured a dataguard setup between databases ( Windows 2012 R2 / Oracle 12 C Relaese 1). After sometime realized that I didn't enable FORCE LOGGING = YES, which I heard was one of the crucial parameter to set while configuring DG.

At this point, want to know can I simply enable this option ? do I need to rebuild dataguard configuration scratch ?

Is there anyway I can check the data size difference between PRIMARY and STANDBY db to rule out any possibility of data committed  to PRIMARY using NOLOGGING option by the application?

Regards

Thahif'
