fonts in PDF

Hi
When I creating reports in PDF format via oracle reports, I can't see some special characters ( š,č,ć,.... - Croatian letters)
Does anybody know how to solve this ???

I'm using DB10gR2, Oracle Reports 6i with following parameters
"desformat" = 'PDF'
"destype" = 'File'
"desname" = <something.pdf>
I use Tahoma font in all fields on reports and everything is fine when I work with RTF (desformat = 'RTF') - I get corrected file in word

Any idea, please ??
