Folder Metadata Inheritance at Profile Check-in

guliflowerApr 19 2010
Hello All!

As I have figured out, one of the smart ways to use folders is to make them inherit the metadata and profile triggers to the content. It is easily done by setting the default metadata to the folder and then by content check-in make the user specify only the rest metadata fields. But this is only possible, when the check-in is literaly done IN the folder, by selecting the New Content in folder menu.

BUT! The metadata inheritance does not work, when checking in content over a profile or standard check even though if you specify the folder where you want to perform check-in.

My question is how to enable folder metadata inheritance at profile and standard check-in, when the folder is chosen at the check-in.

Thanks a lot!
