FOEX Checkbox in a Form

I have used a FOEX Form with some fields. One of them is a FOEX Checkbox (Simple) [Plug-in]. My checked value is Y and unchecked value is N. Value required field is N. But when i submit the form without checking the box, the form is not submitted.It doesn't show any error either. The checkbox on my form is not mandatory. Am i missing something? Can you please help me.
