Flush Mail Queue

Hello, It appears that our mail queue is clogged.

./imsimta qm directory list thousands of entries

I did ./imsimta restart and we seem to be receiving new mail, but the queue is still full.

Does it just take time to empty, or is there a command to force the queue to process?
