Flat File Processing - Records being rejected.

Hello, I am trying to create external tables against flat files to be used as a source in OWB mappings. I am encountering errors when the records are loading. The errors are as follows:

KUP-04021: field formatting error for field COMMENTS
KUP-04036: second enclosing delimiter not found
KUP-04101: record 7 rejected in file g:\bsoflatfiles\BidSignOffView.txt

I am certain that this is due to the CR/LF character in the COMMENTS field. Can flat files and external tables be setup/configured in OWB to handle CR/LF characters in the data in fields? If so, can someone point me in the right direction to solve this issue?
