Hello Sires,

Good morning!

This is my first Oracle community support SR and I am a newbie using this system, I just want to ask you sirs regarding this error I encountered.

It started when I turned on the archivelog mode.

Thank you!

Problem Summary

---------------------------------------------------

Flash Recovery Area is always getting 100%, Oracle Hangs

Problem Description

---------------------------------------------------

Flash Recovery Area is always getting 100%.

Its always incrementing after every backup.

and when it reach the 100%, the Oracle DB crashed.

So i need to expand it more.

because when i try to crosscheck it via Enterprise Manager, there are no obsolete files and can't even delete such files via rman.

Can i just delete this manually in the given path?

or how can i just stop incrementing of this area?

db_recovery_file_dest_size

Error Codes

---------------------------------------------------

db_recovery_file_dest_size is 100%
