fit reports automatically to A4 when generating PDF

Hi,

We are converting reports from 2.5 to 10g. They used to be sent to a printer using a driver file in which the report was shrunk to A4 and printed. Now we want to create pdfs, so instead of specifying a driver file in the DESFORMAT parameter we set it to 'pdf'. This means we lost the ability to fit the report to A4. How can I still shrink the report so that it fits? It is alot of work to change all the reports by hand so that they fit.
If anyone knows of a way to set the autofit option while sending the pdf to the printer (like you can do in acrobat reader in windows) that would be great too!
