Last month I switched to VSCode SQL Developer.
I’m positive about it, especially with the integration with GitHub Copilot. Here are my findings/comments about the things I miss compared to SQL Developer:
- Find objects: I noticed there is a report, but what I really miss is being able to jump directly to the code in the search results.
- Autocomplete: Please make it possible to use lowercase (I read this was already on the list).
- Jumping from an object in a package specification to the object in the body (the small blue arrows in SQL Developer).
- Highlighting important connections: I really like the red borders around the window for production connections.
Kind Regards
Erik
