First Date of a Fiscal Year

Hi How can we get the First date of the Fiscal Year in a column,

for ex. we select a prompt for the Financial Year with the value 2011 then we should get the value 1st April 2011 in a date column,similarly if we select Fin year 2012 we should get 1st April 2012 dynamical.

How can we archive this??
