Hi,

I am currently working on a project where I need find the coordinates of the points (2) of intersection between a line and a sphere.

I have searched google and seen quite a few examples of methods that test whether a line intersects a sphere. Unfortunately I need to know the exact location of the intersection points.

I have the coordinates of the line and the sphere. The line passes through the centre of the sphere and intersects the surface at two points these are the two points I need to find.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
