Finding: Latch Free Waits

Hi All,

Please help me, i am new to this ORACLE DBA world, there is a performance issue in our database. When i generated the ADDM report, i got the below findings. Can anybody please help me what exactly i have to do in terms of this finiding. Please suggest me with the steps. you can also email it to mdyp.forums@gmail.com

Finding 1: Latch Free Waits
Impact is .28 active sessions, 58.28% of total activity.

time.

Estimated benefit is .28 active sessions, 58.28% of total activity.

Rationale
The latch "query server process" with latch ID 354 was one of the top
latches contributing to high "latch free" waits.

Symptoms That Led to the Finding:

Wait class "Other" was consuming significant database time.
Impact is .3 active sessions, 62% of total activity.
