Find the initial archive sequence needed for a recovery ?

Hi All ,

Do we have any view / or someother methods to find out the accurate "start-time" of recovery that a "online" RMAN backup is going to prompt ?

to elaborate above point

i have a full rman online backup taken (say : march 1) i restored that and i want to find out before what is the initial
archive that oracle is going to ask when i am giving recover database (or) recover database until ?

and also do we have any view to find out what is the last archive which will be needed for making a DB consistent/open ?

this is primarily used in situation where we want to find out the exact tape for archives in critical restore / alternate client copy ?

any help /doc / suggestions on this regard is highly appreciated

Thanks
