Find out which session is reason for lock

2745406Nov 2 2016 — edited Nov 2 2016

Hello together,

at a 11.2.0.4 database, which is running on an Oracle Linux 6 server with Grid Infrastructure 11.2.0.4 installed, a machine or session is locking a user again and again because the machine or session tries to login with a wrong password.

Unfortunately the database has no special audit level enabled.

Now we need to find out which machine / session / ip address or whatever is the reason for the lock so we are able to give them the new password.

Which options do I have? Unfortunately alert.log of the database isn't telling anything about that.

Thanks and regards,

David
