find free disk space(native code) in linux using java1.4?

hi all,

Iam new to this forum.is there any way to find free disk space in linux o/s as well as mac o/s using jdk1.4 or jdk1.5.i found the solution for windows using getFreeDiskSpaceEx()(native code in c++) but i didn't find the solution for linux and mac o/s.if any person any knows free disk space in linux o/s as well as mac o/s using jdk1.4 or jdk1.5.please help me.i require this very urgent.i have been trying from the last week onwords.
