Find all records that have Unicode character

631922Nov 8 2010 — edited Nov 9 2010
Oracle database has NLS_CHARACTERSET set to US7ASCII.

Observed that data in the description column (which is varchar2(50)) has unicode character [square].
example:
blue piping [square] twisted

For this discussion cant seem to put the actual unicode character which is seen as a square.

This character has resulted in the loading of the file which doesnt have this character. Oracle has mis-interpreted a long hyphen --.

Presume have to use regular expression.

Need to find all the records in this column that have this character [square].
