Financial Reporting scheduling batches from command line

D.PeregoJun 22 2012 — edited Jun 26 2012
Hello,
is someone able to Financial Reporting Batches from command line?

I think the procedure is pretty clear, i found it in many places. But i'm experiencing many problems.
I'm on linux , FR version 11.1.2.1.00, user is native.

problem 1.
encodepassword contains strange characters. It seems to be edited on windows with notepad (and it comes from install)!! no problem... i just have to remove them.

problem 2.
"encodedpassword foo" command returns a different encodedpassword every time i execute it. I'm not a security geek, but i'm wondering if it is normal or not.

problem 3.
in docs i can understand that to submit a batch the correct syntax fro 11.1.2.1.00 is:
schedulebatch batch.xml http://frwebservername:19000
bad news from here: schdeulebatch command keeps on telling me that i need to pass username and password also.
Usage: ScheduleBatch InputFile ReportWebServerURL Username Password

Is someone managed these issues too?

thank you in advance,
Daniele
