Financial Reporting - Divide a zero by a number >0?

695611Apr 25 2011 — edited Apr 25 2011
I have a set of reports that divide a cell in column A by a total in Column A (example - what percent of total sales is expense A?). There are times when the numerator is 0 (zero) and the denominator (total sales) is a value greater than 0 (zero). When this occurs I receive a value equal to the denominator (total sales). My question... is there a way to basically say "If the numerator (expense) is 0 (zero) then also make the calculation 0 (zero).
