Filtering out Saturdays & Sundays

Hi all,

can any one help me out how to filter saturdays & sundays while inserting data in to table.

For eg:

I am having dates from 1st date to Last Date of Month.
But while inserting dates in to table i need to eliminate saturdays & Sundays.

can any one Help me out plzz.
