Filtering on CLOB column throws ORA-00932

Hi,
I came across an issue in IG column level filtering. When I try applying a filter on an IG column of datatype CLOB from the filter available from column header I get Ajax call returned server error ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected - got CLOB for .

This was seen in APEX 20.1 and also reproducible in APEX 20.2. Is this a bug? or Did I get any setting wrong?
Please note that filtering works fine when done using toolbar level filtering.
