I have read about passing variables in the url which will filter the interactive report on the other page. I am still a beginner in APEX and I do not understand everything that is being said in the websites. I am looking for 'idiot-proof" step by step help to get filter a report. My Scenario:
On page 1 I have a an item called username. A user will enter the username and when the user clicks submit I would like this username to get passed in the url to page 2. Page 2 has an interactive report and I would like the report to now be filtered by the username the user entered in page 1.
May someone please provide a step by step of what I need to accomplish this?
