File too large - Attachment problems iMS 5.2

Hi there

We are having problems with attaching files in IMS 5.2 & wondered if anybody can help.

Our outgoing mail message max size is set to 20MB (I know about the extra 33% space required for encoding) and yet we still cannot attach files to emails that are greater than 5MB.

Does anyone have any idea why this is not working?

If we set the max outgoing mail size to 1MB then attach a 4.7MB file it will attach no problem but will not actually send (due to the 1MB limit), however if I up it to 20MB THEN try to attach a file of 7MB it wont even attach let alone send (which kind of confuses me based on the first test).

Can anyone help?
