File Adapter-Partial Write issue

Hi,

My team is facing a peculiar issue with Writing files using File Adapter. There is a target system which is consuming this XML file. In some instances it has happened that when file write (XML file) is in progress i.e. it is partially written, the target system picks it up.

Is there a way by which we can prevent this kind of scenario? We want target system to pick only those files which are completely written.

We are using:

SOA 11g - 11.1.1.6

JDeveloper 11g

We have encountered this scenario during UAT. Please help and guide us.
