Field focus after validation error

Using Application Express 4.2.5.00.08

I have created a validation for each mandatory field to fire on the Submit button. If a field is NULL, then the "The field is mandatory" inline error message is displayed.

If an error is encountered, is there a way to put the cursor in the field associated with the error? Currently, it returns to the first field at the top of the page.
