Fedora 1 help

411571Dec 21 2003 — edited Dec 29 2003
I am trying to apply the "www.puschitz.com" instructions to Fedora Core 1. I am getting substantially through the install.

- The GUI comes up.
- I select "client tools," and "runtime" (since I only want SQL*Plus).
- It goes through a lengthy install. The oraInventory/logs shows it installing SQL*Plus.

Then the log shows:

=======
/opt/oracle/oraInventory/filemap/./files.map (No such file or directory)
Unable to read the list of homes from the inventory.
=======

and the GUI goes back to the "File Locations" panel. The "Installed Products..." has nothing in it.

Does anyone know what might be causing that error? I believe I'm very close.

Thanks,
Mark
