FDMEE 11.1.2.3 for import data from SQL tables

I want to use FDMEE (11.1.2.3) to import data from SQL /Oracle table and load into Planning/Essbase. I am using Open Interface Adapter , I have created JDBC connections in URL and while regenerating ODI scenario,I am getting the message as "Error Occured".

1. Am I using correct method as "open interface adapter" or should I use any script or any other method?

2. There is no log where I can trace of above error. Could you please share any information on this?
